This training is built for workshops that want their technicians diagnosing faults properly — not guessing or ‘loading the parts cannon’. Ideal for owners who are serious about improving accuracy, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Whilst our training is suitable for apprentices, there are suitability criteria that must be met in order to uphold the integrity of the training. Ideally, all participants will have reasonable mechanical skills and have completed some sort of Basic Electrical training in the past.

Apprentices will build solid foundations while experienced techs will sharpen their diagnostic process.

If you have a larger team, we can also facilitate a split program (multiple sessions) with training configured specifically for your junior and more senior staff.

Yes. Training can be delivered on-site using your own equipment (scan-tools etc.), making it directly relevant to your day-to-day work.

If you have oscilloscopes or other advanced equipment, we can incorporate them into the session. This can be a great way to unlock hidden value in the equipment you already have.

Your staff will gain clear, repeatable diagnostic processes they can apply immediately — improving speed, accuracy, and confidence on the job. Participants will also receive a certificate of completion and reference material relevant to the training they have completed.

You’ll see fewer misdiagnoses, less wasted parts, and faster fault finding. That means more billable hours, fewer comebacks, and better profitability. With a better foundational understanding of vehicle systems and how to diagnose them, your workshop can confidently sell more work, and confidently charge for it!

Yes. The focus is on proven test procedures and real-world diagnostic process. Your team will learn how to prove faults, locate and accurately confirm their causes, not assume them.

Yes. Whilst it incorporates real case-studies and is based on real workshop scenarios covering modern systems, electrical diagnostics, and current vehicle technology, our training has an emphasis on the foundational concepts that these modern systems are built upon, and the skills required to confidently tackle faults regardless of make, model, powertrain etc.

Everything taught is based on actual workshop scenarios, offering real-world value.

All training is conducted in-person with a combination of theory and hands-on delivery. Wherever feasible, real vehicles are used. In cases where on-car training is not feasible (due to location, lack of vehicle access, exhaust extraction or suitable vehicle etc.) training will be facilitated using purpose-built, specialised physical training resources.

Due to the complex nature of the topics and concepts being delivered, there will be a reasonable amount of instructor-lead (‘chalk & talk’) type training, but rest assured: there are no theory-only (death by power-point) sessions. Your team will see and learn real diagnostic techniques in a relaxed, learner-centered environment.

Group sizes are kept practical to ensure everyone gets value. Exact numbers can be discussed based on course content, location (on-site vs off-site), demand and of course, your team.

Group pricing is already structured to be cost-effective, but we can always discuss larger bookings and how to best facilitate them for you.

Yes. On-site sessions can be customised to focus on the types of faults, vehicles, and problem areas that your workshop deals with most, while addressing any identified skills gaps. Training can be targeted to specific systems or problem areas. Upon responding to your enquiry, we will discuss your team and their current skillsets, what your workshop car-park typically looks like, and how we can tailor sessions to best suit the needs of your business.

Off-site, group sessions follow a set curriculum, with each course tackling different topics.

Yes. Training can be delivered across multiple sites. Whether you have two workshops, or are a national company with national coverage, we can facilitate training (with custom pricing) that best fits your business model.

Yes. Confidence comes from understanding — not guessing.

Workshops typically report fewer comeback jobs, reduced parts wastage, and improved efficiency/confidence in diagnosing faults and selling the associated repair work. This is key to increasing sales and actually holding onto the profits that your business generates.

There is also a lot to be said for staff engagement & satisfaction. When businesses take the initiative to invest in their staff, they reap the rewards of this investment.

Off-site, group courses typically run on 1-2-day duration (depending on the particular course) with some courses running consecutively. This makes it possible for you to enrol one or more staff members into one course, but not another. Example: You might send one qualified tech and one apprentice to day one, but send only your qualified tech to day two.

On-site sessions (in your workshop, or other set location) also vary in duration and can be discussed in more detail. We are flexible and can split training into multiple sessions if required. We aim to minimise disruption and fit around your workshop operations.

Training for off-site, group sessions is priced per participant, with discounts for additional participants — making it cost-effective for training multiple members of your team.

For on-site training (in your workshop, or other set location), custom pricing will be offered to best suit your needs, team and budget.

All training delivery, materials, and practical instruction are included in the cost. You will always be provided with a complete, all-inclusive quote. There are no hidden costs. Ever.

Get in touch to discuss a training solution that works for you.

Yes. We can absolutely work with your business long-term to keep your team levelling up.

Absolutely. Follow-up support is available and we will get back to you ASAP. See the Tech Support Service section.

We also love hearing about your diagnostic wins and case-studies. Feel free to email these through!

You should always consult your accountant regarding tax. But generally speaking, training that is directly relevant to your line of work, or impacts the way that your business operates is tax deductable.

Our training is based on real diagnostic work, real faults, and practical methods that your team can use immediately in the workshop to diagnose & fix cars properly - the first time. Satisfied customers are repeat customers!

Of course. All techs are welcome to book and attend our off-site, group sessions.

Thinking about getting your mates together for a private session? We can also facilitate this custom content and pricing. Reach out to discuss.

Get in touch to discuss your workshop, your needs, and available dates — we’ll organise a training session that works for you.

Availability varies, so it’s best to enquire early to secure a spot.

Ideally you should aim to book a few weeks ahead, especially for on-site sessions.

Terms will be outlined clearly at time of booking.

We understand that in a dynamic workplace, things change. We will always do our best to accommodate these changes and find a solution that works for you.
